Review a proposal
Review and respond to a proposal from your pool service company when they send you a quote that needs your approval. Proposals arrive as a direct secure link by email or text, and you can accept or decline them without signing in.
What a proposal shows
A proposal opens with the company name, a Proposal number, the proposal title, your name, and its current status. It may also show a Valid until date, a total or a price range, an Introduction, Scope of work, Property information, pool details, Pricing, and Terms & conditions. If a proposal has already been accepted and signed, the signature information is shown.
Choose an option
Some proposals offer more than one option to choose from. Each option group lists its own line items and total, and a Recommended label marks the option your service company suggests. When option groups are present, you must select an option before you can accept. Once you record a choice, that option is locked and only the selected option is shown.
Accept and sign
Open the proposal link from the email or text message.
Select an option if the proposal offers choices.
Click Accept & sign.
Enter your full name in the Full name field.
Draw your signature, using Clear to start over if needed.
Submit Accept & sign.
After you accept, the page shows Proposal accepted and Thank you! We'll be in touch shortly to get started.
Decline a proposal
Open the proposal link.
Click Decline.
Enter an optional decline reason.
Click Confirm decline.
After you decline, the page shows Proposal declined and Thank you for letting us know. Feel free to reach out if anything changes.
If a proposal expires
A proposal can have a Valid until date. If you open it after that date, the page shows This proposal expired on [date]. Please contact us for an updated proposal. and you can no longer accept or decline it. Contact your pool service company to request a new proposal.
Proposal statuses
Proposals can show these statuses: Draft, Awaiting Response, Accepted, Declined, Expired, or Cancelled.
If the proposal link doesn't load
If the proposal can't be found, the page shows Proposal unavailable. The link may have expired or been revoked. Contact your pool service company to request a new link.
